Two-time defending national champion Alabama seeks some redemption when they take on reigning Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M in an SEC West showdown.
Pay per head services know that the Crimson Tide had just one blemish last year, as the team claimed their third national title in the last four years. The loss came at home to the Aggies in a game that put Johnny Football in front of the Heisman race. Alabama opened defense of their recent national title two weeks ago and looked strong in a 35-10 win over of Virginia Tech in Atlanta while Texas A&M is 2-0, averaging 58.5 points and 600 yards through two games, but the defense has surrendered 29.5 points and 449.5 yards per game.
Alabama has a 3-2 series edge, but lost 29-24 in Tuscaloosa last year. This will be the Crimson Tide’s first trip to College Station, Texas since a 30-10 victory in 1988. Alabama is the first No. 1 team to visit College Station since Texas A&M upset Oklahoma 30-26 in 2002.
