Denver Broncos favored by 28 points

The Denver Broncos are 28-point favorites to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday, which is the highest spread in NFL history. Several sportsbooks, including the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino are projecting the Broncos to win by four touchdowns.

Pay per head services know that the spread is designed to lure people into betting and it will likely decrease later this week, but it could still go down as one of the largest in NFL history.

Jaguars starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert left yesterday’s game against the Rams with a hamstring injury but whoever lines up under center for the Jaguars against Payton Manning and the Broncos is not expected to prevent a beatdown.

The Broncos are 5-0 and have scored the most points (230) in NFL history through five games. The Jaguars on the other hand are winless and on pace to be the first time to finish 0-16 since the Lions in 2008. The Jaguars have scored 51 points and allowed 163 through five games.

It’s worth noting that the Chiefs defeated the Jaguars by 26 points earlier this season (28-2) while the Colts beat them by 34 points (37-3).
