Derrick Rose returns after more than 17 months out

Derrick Rose returned to the court yesterday, helping the Bulls to an 82-76 win over the Pacers in the preseason opener for both teams.

Pay per head services know that the star point guard, who tore the ACL in his left knee in the first game of the 2012 NBA playoffs and missed the entire 2012-13 season, scored 13 points on 5-for-12 shooting and added three assists, two rebounds and two steals in over 20 minutes of play.

Rose he looked like his old self. His knee has been 100 percent for a while but he had to get over the mental aspects of his injury and it appears he has done that.

Luol Deng finished with 15 points and Taj Gibson added 18 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Bulls.

Paul George and David West finished with 14 points apiece and Roy Hibbert added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Pacers.

Danny Granger, who missed most of last year with a knee injury, had six points and two assists over 28 minutes.
